Fall colors with mini sunflower and oregano are doing well as the weather turns chilly. I prefer these mini and short variety to the giant tall ones even more on these windy days.

A brown triangular moth, resting with the head up and the trailing edges of the wings forming the base of the triangle. The forewings are mottled tan and brown. The hindwings, partly obscured by the forewings, are tan with dark brown streaks. The visible part of the body is tan and fuzzy. From this angle, the pale green eyes aren't that apparent. The brown antennae are slightly curved. The background for the image includes green stems and yellow flowers on a chamisa, but this close up those greens and yellows come across as fairly abstract streaks.
