Hello! #PortfolioDay

I'm Crimson and I do character illustration. A fan of soft watercolor-like shading and subtle expression. I also have open commissions on VGen and Commissions GG 🎨🖌️

🟢 vgen.co/crimsonmistx
🟣 commissions.gg/crimsonmistx

Drawing of my OC, Halley, at the beach. She’s wearing a light blue dress, a translucent shawl, a straw hat, and a red gemstone necklace. Halley is looking at the sea with a light shining in her eyes. A glass of watermelon juice rests on top of her table.

In the background, there are several people who are enjoying their time, as well as two of the restaurant buildings.

Illustration of my sona, Crimson, holding her sketchbook with left hand and a mechanical pencil on her right hand while looking at the viewer. In the background, you can see two windows, one closed and one half-open. Through the windows, her orchids are blooming outside.

I have a strong connection with orchid flowers. Orchids rarely bloom. Some of them wither before they even bloom once. But once they get to bloom, it’ll be a long-lasting beauty that wouldn’t wither easily.

My life, as well as my art journey, has its ups and downs. There was a time when I was miserable and doing art was just painful. Nowadays, I’m inspired by many artists and things in daily life. I do art almost daily without pressuring myself. It’s like I can finally bloom, after all this time.

Banner illustration featuring @WaywardParallax on Twitch, singing on a live stage while holding a bouquet of flowers in their left arm. The bouquet has their favorite flowers, sunflower, roses, and white lily. Commissioned by the client through VGen.

On the bottom right corner has the handwritten text “Thank you for commissioning -Crimsonmistx”

Drawing of Lemuen from Arknights in "Requiem Vesperis" outfit. Her recent outfit in the Arknights global server. Drawn on the bakatako site, mainly with "zero's painter brush" by @zeroperks.

Traffic Mirror 🦇
Third illustration in my Blythewood series!

[ #oc #art #originalcharacter ]

A drawing of left to right - Reimi (raindrop), Meikai (bear) and Harvey (prince) reflected in a traffic mirror. The sun is a deep orange with the silhouettes of Blythewood standing dark in the background. A chainlink fence is cordoning off the area behind the mirror with large birds flying in the sky behind. Meikai is looking up at the top of the mirror at some creatures appearing while the other two are distractedly looking at other things (phone and bag)
