Over the summer I got to hang with my old pal Ian who was originally the drummer for JCJB and he sent me some real shit photos he found sitting around on a computer of a basement gig we played 20ish years ago. They are terrible photos but it’s nice to see Hug the people you love whenever you can.

This summer was ten years since Barker died. I really fucking miss him. The last few weeks I’ve been getting hit with memories hard. I just want to call him and hear that goofy fucking laugh.

Unboxing the 7-inch of Hillbilly Fuckery b/w Appalachian Blood Bourbon.

I need to do a more analytical deep dive into why I love that band and dislike so many similar bands but yeah. I DUNNO WHERE IM GOING WITH THIS. lol.

lol they are the ONLY band that does the blast too much thing that I can tolerate. To the point where I wouldn’t say I tolerate it I reallllllly like that band but cannot listen to, as an example, 1349. I think they manage to keep the riffing blaring as well which maybe is what makes it work for me

One of us has been pooping dirt all day… CAN YOU GUESS WHO
