Thank you, Elizabeth! 😊 I’ve truly enjoyed being a mentor the past two years. It allows the teacher in me to share what I’ve learned what’s better than talking about books? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nothing!

What about an injury initiative for those injured by unvaccinated people who have died from measles? And babies who aren’t being treated properly at birth because they’re being misled.
We need to hold RFK and the rest of the antivaxers accountable for this. #science

This is ridiculous and everyone In education knows it!
When I was in grad school (for education) I had a professor who said “weighing a pig every week isn’t what makes them grow” meaning testing isn’t teaching and doesn’t make them better learners. #kidlitchat

The best school visit was when a former student who had left our school & no one knew where he went turned up 3 years later in a classroom where I was presenting! 🥹
The sad thing now is it’s much harder to get bookings. I think most people would agree with this. #kidlitchat

I love author visits & as a former teacher I’ve always been able to make them feel productive and fun even when technology doesn’t work or something else doesn’t go as planned. I’ve shared at all-school assemblies and presented to single classrooms! It’s all good. #kidlitchat 🧵
