Eh, pants are overrated anyway.

But our president decided we need to cut back, how else is he going to afford his 4th vacation this year? Tokyo Disneyand is pretty expensive after all.

We've managed to avoid any AI related trouble so far, I do admin work for a contractor. Sales are down because people are paralyzed to spend money and our overhead is up because of the recession and "totally not a war" war with Iran. It's bad news everywhere.

Nobody wakes up and expects their life to be upended. For 14 people at my company that was their reality last week. For me thats my reality in approx. 2 months. I'm lucky to have notice and time, most people wont have that luxury. No one is safe, plan NOW. We're in the shit, and it will get worse.

God knows I need the stress relief. I love doing some star gazing. One of my favorite memories from when I was a kid was driving though Nevada after dark and just looking at the sky out the window. Absolutely gorgeous.
