I’m not sure who I was a year ago could have done that.

I recently had to be real honest & vulnerable with someone. I felt so anxious my stomach hurt. But I trust them & I was met with openness & understanding. In the end it was the BEST case scenario & I feel closer & more connected with them. I’m so grateful for them & I’m proud of myself.

I felt this way in film school where they still make us watch that film. There are alternatives to showing the epic and technical aspects of filmmaking without all the fucking racism. One does not wash out the other, and regardless it is still a bad film because of the racism.
