My strange, hopeful little story is out for Banned Books Week--as long as there are books, there will be Readers! I hope you check it out!

I think the closest I've come to that so far is that when I started writing THE LORD OF THE WOOD, Charlotte was a few years older than me, but by the time of publication she was only a year older than me 😂 otherwise I've never caught up yet!

I'm the odd one out, the first story the big danger was an outlaw who came to take some ponies and then tried to kill the protags when they were like "um no" and the second story did admittedly involve a war (between 2 countries) but it was mostly the backdrop for the love story 😂

big deal both because I actually finished a short story (and so fast) AND because it's a svelte 3500 words, instead of the last one where I had an actual maximum word count but blew past it and wound up with a novella lmfao

for me the weird edgelord bit was 12yo E writing a character who's like "I can't be with you bc I love you but I feel trapped when I'm with you" which has me like "what the FUCK Baby E" bc Baby E was very much not even interested and hadn't had a crush yet so like. where the fuck did THAT come from
