We refer to Kennedy as sen foghorn leghorn 🤪 because of his corn ball over the top southern shtick “ he’s an 🫏🕳️

There’s some in depth coverage on YouTube about his ‘grilling’ recently and he conducts himself with grace and eloquence. His responses to John Kennedy, (who sounds like a not too bright sheriff in the Cannonball Run film) was calm and patient even though he was interrupted several times by Kennedy.

I’d say it was close on 90% of British household didn’t. We had a pantry with a cold slab and I didn’t know anyone who had a fridge. I was born in 1954 and I can remember with great excitement the arrival of our ‘Frigidaire’. I can’t remember how old I was but I remember it. I think it was typical.

A near neighbour of mine who I’ve known since school has a flagpole in his back garden and he flies flags. Not as part of this rag tag mob but as a symbol of events. Generally he flies a very well made Union Jack but others on specific days are also flown. E.g, 23rd April the cross of St George 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
