I wrote about Baltimore's co-op infrastructure a couple of weeks ago... here's a much more in-depth look at what is quietly one of the most revolutionary things happening in the US.
most of them! including The Sapling Cage and the Danielle Cain books.
if you do choose to submit, include the fact that I suggested you do so in your cover letter
we're always open for novel submissions at @tangledwilderness.bsky.social
we have that! At the $10/mo level we mail out a zine anywhere in the world, every month.
I mean seriously just look at this thing. (Art by Robin Savage).
If you saw me on tour for The Sapling Cage, this has the stories that I read to you. It's five folktales from the fantasy world of that novel, but you don't have to know anything about the novel to enjoy it.
I'm super excited to announce the fanciest zine of mine ever, The Folktales of Lowland Cekon. It's gorgeously illustrated by two dear friends, printed by a worker-owned printer. And it's $6. Pre-order is up now.
like I'm reasonably certain that if someone handwrote notes and put them in my mailbox that said "we're going to stop the tranny menace" or whatever that would be a crime. I don't see why having them printed on glossy cardstock makes it okay.
honestly i should be able to sue the republican candidate in my district for sending me hate mail, based on the mailers I get.
since i have been on Behind the Bastards I have decided that if it wins, that means I have a golden globe too. mostly i just want joe rogan to lose though.
Behind the Bastards is apparently eligible for a Golden Globe this year
I can't imagine we'll win, given the number of podcasts by famous Hollywood people on the list. But it's nice to be considered eligible!

Happening now! Border Patrol amassing forces after land defenders re-established a tree sit on the Mexican side of the border in La Noria, Sonora, this morning, stopping wall construction the day after DHS killed the Grandmother Tree.

(that said I don't mind someone approaching info like this with skepticism. CrimethInc, though, is a collective that has been part of rowdy street movements for something like 30 years and regularly collates information from contributors from around the world.)
protesting isn't safe. neither is letting fascists take over the world.
