Inflation is up 94.5% since 2000! 💵 A dollar's real worth is 51¢
www.usinflationcalculator.com

To decide if something is reasonably priced, cut the price in half. That's its price in 2000 $$$s.

Today's $15 bespoke burrito = $7.50. Fair.

But, has your salary doubled since 2000? Mine sure hasn't!

Hi.... If you are on Spotify, I created this playlist of all Projekt holiday tracks available for streaming.... open.spotify.com/playlist/0Ol... (It doesn't include Vol 2, however, as that's not up for streaming.)

Dr: Do you have a cat or dog?
Me: Yes, why?
Dr: There's fur on your socks.

One of the things I like about Dream Academy is you can listen to their version of "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" and avoid Morrissey! 🤪 This is what a BlackTape video would have looked like in '86, if I had a budget + good equipment. www.youtube.com/watch?v=En1I...

I answered Black Tape For A Blue Girl fan email. Two from Florida, and two who didn't say. Q: What advice would you give me as I continue to navigate my life? S: I can't say for you personally. For me at 20: Chill out! It's not as important and serious and stressful as you make it out to be.

How about BMI offers musicians a health care plan at a group rate, rather than "access to expert insurance advisors.“ !!!

Fans of Projekt's 90s Dream Pop act Love Spirals Downwards can check out the new ep from vocalist Suzanne Perry. It's Pay What You Can at Bandcamp. @frankieteardrop.bsky.social writes, "Perry’s voice still sounds as shimmering and sublime as ever."

Art always has constraints. One's skill, what supplies or technology one can afford, how much music fits on the side of an LP, when it was created and what was available to work with in that era..... the list goes on.

Just heard somebody on NPR (National Public Radio) say: Novelty subject to constraints = Art
