So you're left with the people who have more time than sense, a severe lack of disregard for their own mental health, or people who have to make a career off of their anti-AI posting to fill the vacuum. There's no incentive structure for people in good faith to focus on winning Bluesky arguments.

In all seriousness: the rate at which things change in the AI space is such that you need to be updating your priors almost constantly. To the extent I have the bandwidth to do that much, I'd rather my efforts go towards building best practices at my place of work than shifting careers to Poasting.

Most of us have jobs.

But none of the institutions outside of the SC were ones that were particularly liked prior to Trump II, right? Like, has Fox News seen similar numbers of falloff over time? Or conservative media in general? Is it a case of people tuning out with "trusted" sources steadily over time?

I'd be curious to see whether this shows up in data. Is it less of an approval rate of Donald Trump himself so much as the approval rating of all of the people Donald Trump convinced to carry water for him getting knocked out like pieces of a Jenga tower? "He'll be fine, you can trust me" types.
