Friday afternoon tea is a great source for tasty tea, and running a small business is really hard. See below and drink more tea, while also giving our friends in small businesses grace.

We asked for regular ongoing support rather than just a big weekend turnout followed by crickets, and y'all have shown up. That's amazing! Thanks so much for the love, patience, hype-share and support! We're feeling much more optimistic and connected than we were at the beginning of the month!

On the customer help side, we've seen pretty well sustained in-person shopping support over the past week. We've also seen our group reservations tick up through mid-November. Both of these factors are helping balance things out TONS.

We've been collecting interest info from local art class leaders and will be scheduling out more communitea events soon! Pottery classes, drawing classes, local author readings, and so on. So exciting!

3) We have eliminated Thirsty Thursdays and reduced free samples in shipped orders, cutting labor time for prep and product cost down. 4) Ok, I did forget to raise our shipping prices to meet current costs, so you have through tonight before I do that!

Status update on the tea shop survival project: 1) We have added/trained more labor to the warehouse for online fulfillment, allowing more orders to process daily. 2) We have a win-win packaging change in the works: a shift to more affordable, domestically produced compostable packaging!
