Same to me, he seemed fine. I didn't notice any big mistakes, certainly.

Week 5 Quick Reads: Drake Maye is chewing bubblegum and kicking ass. Plus, best and worst players of Week 5 by DYAR.
Will have to look after the podcast!
Writing up Quick Reads now, but this was Maye's best-ever game by DYAR because a) 4 DPIs and b) last year's Jets defense was horrible
Join me and @miketanier.bsky.social talking about Week 5 in the NFL at noon Eastern!
DVOA playoff odds simulation now updated. We probably have the 49ers Super Bowl odds too high, but they are easily the best team in the league over Weeks 1-5 and a 2-game lead in the best division in the NFL is pretty valuable!
DVOA numbers are now updated through Week 5 except MNF. 49ers still on top by a healthy margin!
Best 1-4 teams by DVOA. None of these teams made the postseason, and several crashed after their unlucky starts.
Crashed before overtime. Just watched it. We should replace negative Tua discourse with positive Kyle Hamilton discourse.
The most games played by a lineman in NFL history. Calais Campbell passes Jim Marshall to be the all-time leader.
Nah, Goff was pretty good last year and they only were 9-8.
Yes, it's not that he only plays well with a lead. He just plays with a lead a LOT.
It's kind of kooky that the Falcons are winning this game and Bijan Robinson has only five carries.
No. Most quarterbacks play better and make fewer mistakes when they're ahead. Last year, the Patriots were ahead a LOT.
Yes, but he played from ahead an absurd percentage of the time last year, in part because of the schedule, so even if you adjusted for schedule, it didn't totally account for it.
Being ahead doesn't change the fact that he makes some amazing throws, but it does minimize the mistakes.
Something I've been talking a lot to @miketanier.bsky.social about is the idea that Drake looks so awesome in part because he's always playing from ahead. That's an even bigger deal than the schedule.
Again, today, he played most of the game from ahead, and he looked awesome.
Also, I'm not sure but I'm going to guess Mr. Gruber is not Jewish.
(Part of my work has been looking at all QB runs that are available on video to mark which ones are scrambles, so I've seen a lot of QB sneaks.)
I've seen some long QB sneak-like plays in my work cleaning old historical play-by-play but I think that's the longest one I've seen. 16 yards!
