Could you repair it rather than replace it? Broken doesn't always mean it's finished. Could it be repaired or donated to a charity shop? Keeping something in use for just a little longer helps reduce waste and often saves money too. What items have you saved from going to waste? #ZeroWasteWeek

Small fragments of mail from across the Roman Empire. Used by craftworkers to repair damaged armour similarly to patching up textiles, they indicate recycling and repair of equipment was common in the Roman army #ZeroWasteWeek

Before you buy something new...why not ask yourself: 'Could I borrow it instead?'
You might save yourself money, and prevent waste, by trying your local Library of Things.

Have you ever wondered how refill shops work?
They're simpler than you might think.
Bring your own container.
Fill it up.
Pay for what you've chosen.
That's it.
