I wandered into the lobby of this #Zürich building to check it out during the day. It's a media company's office - transparency is on theme.

A high-ceilinged day-lit office lobby. The structural supports are all exposed, huge wooden vertical beams and tinker-toy-like ceiling beams. The floor is very shiny and reflects light from outside. A view of an office seating area along a glass wall lit by dappled sunlight. There are enormous raw wood beams supporting the ceiling, with similar structural ceiling beams crossing the seating area. There's a white glass-sided stairway, and the floor is light polished concrete inlaid with half-river stones. I wandered past someone cleaning one of these mostly self-cleaning public toilets in #Zürich. Check out the closet of cleaning supplies integrated on the back of the WC!

While #Zürich fountains often have dog-friendly designs, this is one is dedicated solely to animals. It reads, "Rudolf Koller Dog Fountain on the 100th anniversary of the death of the Swiss animal painter, January 5, 2005."

A low-to-the-ground metal fountain installed as a flat panel on the outside of a building. The plaque reads, "Rudolf Koller Hundebrunnen zum 100. Todestag des Schweizertiermalers 5. Januar 2005." Translated, that means, "Rudolf Koller Dog Fountain on the 100th anniversary of the death of the Swiss animal painter, January 5, 2005."

I've been wondering about the purpose of these metal strips lining the main train station in #Zürich. Apparently, one bit got bent (damaged) so I now know it's possible to put a wall up around the station.
