My thoughts on the pizza:

I'll admit that I came in expecting your regular-ass pizza with toppings, though it's apparent to me that the guys running the place want a specific flavour palette to go with the toppings of choice. There's very little that can be done with the wilted spinach and onions, though the goat cheese provided a welcome sense of sharpness that also crumbles nicely with the sausage spice. Basically, this $4 slice is what Famoso wishes it could be.

My thoughts on it:

It's admittedly heavy on the breading, and they REALLY went overboard on the ranch dressing. Other than that, the patty is definitely better than what you'd get from a McChicken, and even a DQ Chicken sandwich, though it kinda sucks that the only veg they used are pickles, especially when they have spinach to use as a pizza topping.

Either way, I guess I can hold off on going to the Arby's for the time being, and a standalone food court that charges food truck prices on everything makes Arby's look comparatively attractive.

My thoughts on the dish:

For what was basically $15 including tax, this was a decently sized serving. The broth was pretty flavourful, and the noodle and meat portion was definitely within reason on what to expect from how much I spent on lunch.

While I appreciate the amount of slice beef in the thing, I couldn't help but note that there was barely any tripe, and there was only like, one meatball that's been cut in half. There is also a similar amount of tendon. I guess I was kinda expecting a more balanced ratio of the different beef cuts, rather than just the sliced beef being the lion's share of the meat.

Non-official fumo plush of Sakuya Izayoi sitting next to three different cookies that I bought from Purr Tea, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I already forgot what the flavours were, I just knew that they were only a dollar each if you buy two or more, including taxes.

The white cookies taste very similar to one another, and to me, they taste like what a sugar cookie should taste like. It's almost as if cookies baked daily from a locally owned coffee shop are actual cookies, unlike the cookies that are mass-produced for sale at a supermarket's bakery aisle.

The third cookie at the back is made of coconut flakes, caramelized sugar, chocolate, and most likely JUST enough dough for the confectionary to maintain a cookie-like shape. I can't tell if it's trying to be a chocolate, cookie, or candy, and I can respect its indecisiveness.

I know for sure to never pay full price for that thing, though even with a coupon, the base price is $7 + tax, though my upsizing of the coffee to a large brings it up to $7.95 including tax.

I'll be perfectly honest, I feel like the novelty of the McGriddle's pancake bun is wearing off on me, though if the opportunity presents itself, I'll still get it regardless, as the extra fat and sugar that comes with it is extra food energy for the photoshoot I did shortly after eating that thing.
