Flying fast past the distant light-brown surface of a massive ocean rock, a brown and white common murre is frozen in time by this shot as it raises its right wing mid-flap. These pretty birds have a brown head with a thin light-colored line that trails away from their eye and toward the back of their head. The brown feathers cut off in a neat and sharp line at their neck, and the rest of the bird's body is white. The tops of their wings are brown and the undersides are mostly white with light-brown highlights. đź“· Canon R5 Mk II Canon RF100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Canon RF 1.4x Extender Av, f/10, 1/2500, ISO 1600, 700mm 6/14/26 Northern Oregon Coast
