We're highlighting some of our staff who are working on the TOURIST Platform Trial, the world's largest #ClinicalTrial using radiotherapy in the treatment of metastatic #LungCancer.

Today marks both #WorldRadiotherapyAwarenessDay and #NationalGratefulPatientDay. That makes it a fitting opportunity to recognize two things at the heart of radiation oncology: the importance of advancing awareness of radiotherapy and the patients who give that work its purpose.

Radiotherapy can also play an important role in ALK+ #lungcancer. It may be used to treat cancer in the brain or other parts of the body, control one or a small number of areas that have started growing, or relieve symptoms.
