happy #wipwed, here's a sneak peek of what I'm dropping for day 1 of Kinktober tomorrow >;3

this one's for my staytiny

"I guess we'd better get going, then." Hyunjin slipped a hand out of his pocket to scratch his collarbone, brushing aside the collar of his already sinfully unbuttoned white dress shirt, leaving more of his smooth chest exposed. As his hand slid back into his pocket, Seonghwa's lower lip slid underneath his teeth.

"Now? Hyunjin-ah...."

The voice was deep and pleasant, soft like the fine fur of a pedigree dog. San's eyes were able to focus and, in a sea of white, a bright figure was looking back at him with a gentle expression.

An angel.

"Where am I?" San asked, and he looked around him. He saw a window showing a bright blue sky, white curtains on the other side, and the angel, who had black hair and a birthmark like a flower
—or a heart?-on his temple.

"You're in a hospital bed. It was hard to get you back here, but we've done it."

"You're not an angel?"

"I'm just a nurse," the angel replied. "My name is Yeosang."

"I'm San."

"I know. Your ID was in the car."

Yeosang made a move as if he was going to leave, but San stopped him, pulling on his sleeve. He felt tears coming up and he sobbed, but he didn't know if it was from disappointment or relief.

Yeosang smiled and sighed, the sound airy and soft, and he sat back down next to San.

here have the entire first chapter of Seven Thousand Chances since it may never see the light of day otherwise. #Skyrim fic!

Female OC - Lossie x Nirya (college of winterhold) enemies to lovers endgame. Opening chapter just sets the tone for our leading lady lol

#wipwednesday #wipwed #fanfiction

"C'mon lass, just this once. For old time's sake."

"I can't, Bryn. You know I can't."

Lossie stares down at the murky water dripping into the wooden bucket, wringing out a rag and trying to focus on her work. Her routine is the only thing she has, and she's not going to let Brynjolf of all people, interrupt that.

"The only one who thinks you can't is you, Lossie. I've always had complete faith in your capabilities."

She looks at him over the silvery rim of her glasses and snorts, not bothering to grace that with a proper response. They both know he's lying through his freakishly perfect teeth. Turning away, she moves on to the next table, scrubbing up... something sticky. Mead, probably. Hopefully.

"Lass, please. You're the only one who can get close to the target."

"What, can't charm your way into this one's pants?"

"I'm, eh... not his type. I know for a fact you are, though." He sounds like he really does know that for sure. Lossie stops scrubbing and spins around to look at Brynjolf, searching his face. He looks as unbothered as usual. The same can't be said for her.

"Bryn, are you out of your mind?! He's a regular, isn't he? That's why you know."

Brynjolf just smiles that easy smile he likes to pretend he means, and holds fast. Like he thinks if he just persists in her space that she will do what he wants. She steps closer and looks around to make sure nobody is in earshot.

"Haelga would kill me for stealing from a regular, Bryn! How could you even suggest this? I need this job, you know that."

Her voice is hushed, but urgent. She watches Brynjolf's face, hoping that her words will get through to him. She can't have him hanging around here, causing problems for her. Especially not if the reason he's hanging around is because he is trying to steal from one of the bunkhouse regulars. If Haelga found out, she'd be done for. She can't lose this job now, not when she's so close to her goal.Instead of being cowed by her words, though, Brynjolf lights up. Fuck.

"Well now, lass. Lucky for you, then, that this job isn't stealing. It's quite the opposite, in fact. Pays quite a pretty penny, too. All for this little thing..." He flourishes his hand and produces a silver ring from what seems to be thin air. Lossie blinks, unimpressed, and waits for him to finish. "... to end up in the right pocket." He smiles wide with his stupid, perfect teeth on full display. Like a cat that got the cream.

"No."

His smile disappears, and Lossie turns around and walks away. She has shit to do. She wets the rag and goes back to scrubbing.

"Lass! Wait—"

"No." Lossie keeps scrubbing. The sound of water sloshing in the bucket and the rag against the tables fills the silence. She keeps working, completely focusing all of her anger at Brynjolf into her task. She can't believe he would risk her job like this. Not when he knows what it means to her.

"What if—"

"No." She finishes cleaning the tables and moves on to sweeping the floors. The broom's bristles scratch against the wood unpleasantly. Lossie hates that sound. It's a very stark reminder of how many months she has left here every time she hears it. Scratching at the floor the way she scratches at the walls of her enclosure, begging to be free of it. All she wants is out of Riften.

Lossie has her plan, her timeline. It's the only thing that brings her comfort. The only thing that keeps her going through her life working at the bunkhouse, each day working her fingers to the bone. Each night, lying beneath man after man until her insides are numb. For the coin. All for the coin. She's so close. Only four more months.

Brynjolf's hands cover hers on the broom, stopping her work. She looks up at him. She knows that her desperation must be plain on her face, because Brynjolf looks away. He never could handle anything as real as that.

"Lossie...""Save it, Bryn." She tugs the broom away, and goes back to work. She can still feel Brynjolf's eyes boring holes in her back, but it feels different this time. Lossie knows he's about to get serious. He normally gives up without pressing her like this. He must really need her to do this job.

"The job came from Maven, Lass."

Shit. She stops sweeping, her eyes flutter closed as she processes the weight of that statement.

"How much?"

"Lossie—"

"How much, Bryn?"

"... A hundred now. Four hundred more on verified completion."

"Fuck."

Lossie leans the broom against the wall, and paces the length of the small dining space. Five hundred septims is more than she would make in four months. A lot more. It would buy carriage passage to Winterhold and supplies for the road… and along with her savings, the amount left over would hopefully leave enough to let her survive a year, if she's frugal. Wiping her sweaty bangs off of her forehead, she turns to Brynjolf.

"Who?"

Brynjolf looks up at her then, something almost apologetic in his face. Like he knows she's not going to like the answer. She crosses her arms over her chest and bounces on the balls of her feet, restless.

"The target is Brand-Shei."

"Oh, for Mara's sake, Brynjolf! Brand-Shei is Haelga's. I'm not allowed near him!"

"Aye, lass. But what do the rules matter if it's the last time you'll set foot in this place?" It's the right thing to say. Brynjolf always knows just what to say. It's his job, after all. But his tone doesn't match the words. He sounds uncharacteristically somber, like he doesn't really want to say the right thing this time.Lossie agonizes over her decision for a grand total of ten seconds before she holds her hand out to Brynjolf. Five hundred septims is too much for her to turn down, and they both know it. He seems resigned somehow as he places the ring and a small, weighty coin purse into her palm. He uses his hands to cover hers, folding her fingers over the items.

He lingers for a moment, and she looks up at him. He's not looking at her, just staring pensively at their combined hands. He opens his mouth like he wants to say something, but it clicks shut again. Lossie has no idea what to make of his behavior, as it's so out of character for him to not be gloating over his success.

With a nod, Brynjolf looks up at her and smiles that easy, fake smile... and then he leaves.

#wipwed for the mentally descent to hell that I put yeosang through

"I think you're lovable. You are a very pretty person, Yeosang. I can see us becoming great friends."

Something came from deep within Yeosang's belly, something ugly, and it rose to his throat and suddenly turned into a burning sensation once they reached his eyes.

"I," Yeosang tried to say, but he stammered. "I don't think I deserve these words, Jongho."

Jongho looked at him, truly looked at him, and a small smile curved his lips upwards.
"It's the first time you said my name. It sounds nice, in your voice."

Yeosang opened and closed his mouth a few times, but no sound came out.

"I'm going to sleep, but you're free to walk wherever you want in the apartment, or to put the TV on, I really don't mind."

"Thank you, Jongho."

Jongho was about to leave the room and he slightly turned toward Yeosang. "It does sound really nice. Good night, Yeosang."

I'm a little late but better late than never! Happy #WIPWed! 🥰 Today was hubby's bday, so I spent most of the day writing a new char sheet for Daggerheart.
BUT I have also been working on entries for King Paimon week! Enjoy this snippet of Pai introducing his austere new bride to Tilla. Allegedly...

Sorry, this is very much a WIP, I can tell words need to be shaved to make it read smoother. AHEM!

King Paimon makes no note of her discomfort. He seems to be levitating with excitement, head in the clouds, too giddy to notice anything below the beak. “Meet my new queen!” he coos. Like a magician revealing a trick bouquet, he flourishes his cape and another Goetia appears out of thin air.

The midnight blue-black grackle clucks, disgruntled.

Tilla drops into an improper curtsy, and staggers, arms outstretched for balance. “Pleased to meet you, your majesty.”

“Well, soon-to-be queen,” King Paimon amends. “Our nuptials are next week.” He squeezes his bride in a one-armed hug.

Matilda looks up to congratulate them, and instantly regrets it.

The grackle Goetia has unnervingly high-contrast, emotive eyes: The brightest whites, the blackest irises. Even with a heavy scowl, her scleras are fully visible, like the bulging, shiny plastic of a Muppet.

With no idea how she has offended the queen already, Tilla bows her head almost to her knees, and says, “Congratulations” to the ground.

“Isn’t she charming!” King Paimon squeals. “Freshly baked, too! Lucifer made a new one just for me. He’s such a good friend.”

Tilla gawps, “A brand new hellborn. Wow. That is something to celebrate.”

“Mhmm! Only seven days old, but what a week it’s been,” he chuckles, low and lascivious. King Paimon flicks one of his future wife’s earrings.

The Muppet clucks again.

“Wow! Two weeks!” she straightens up, clutching her head. “Hells bells, wow,” Matilda swallows painfully, lamenting her long engagement. “Wow,” she repeats, unable to find her wit beneath her jealousy.

“Mhmmhmmhmm,” King Paimon snickers, nuzzling his intended’s cheek. “I figure: Sure. We have eternity. But why waste time.”King Paimon side by side with a glaring grackle.
