Bob still not feeling well, but recovering. My poor love. 😢💜💜💜
Got bad news about a friend, drew a card for them (I’ll scan it, print, & touch it up with gold, so it won’t fade).
Based on a 19thC postcard.

A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of roses in a narrow rectangular window set in a yellow-green wall background.
The roses are white, with yellow stamens in the center, and there are green leaves around the flowers. A cluster of roses hangs down below the tan window frame, and a bud is sticking up through the window center right.
The background behind the roses is dark purple, and the roses throw soft purple shade on the green wall below where they come through. There are touches of soft violet and pink in the shadows on the rose petals.
Cursive writing bottom left says “With Deepest Sympathy”.
This is the base drawing for a card that will be printed, then touched up with more paint for a friend.
Flowers referenced from a 19th century Easter card.
