Today I collected some American persimmons (Diospyros virginiana in the Ebenaceae family) in the woods. So sweet, & a nice foraging treat. Don't eat them until they fall to ground on their own. Unripe fruit is very astringent; your mouth will never unpucker. #foraging #photography #wildediblefruit
