One thing that yinglishi opened Was that two languages can make something very beautiful at the end.

I think one question that I had was to why such a long sad Voice, but so many different sceneries too. Molly when it was a tragedy struck in the beginning. I was really confused.

For somewhat moment, I felt like I understood and pictured the scenery, but then at times it would confuse me and make me realize okay. Maybe we’re not picturing the same idea because of there Voice.

I would say, I did get goosebumps in the beginning, because of it, reminding me of the samurai and the dynasty time, it just felt kind of familiar to me, because of all the shows and movies I watched

I don’t think Yingelishi gave me an answer, but I did question something I normally never think about. If humans can understand so much through tone without understanding the words, then how much of language is actually the words, and how much is everything around them? #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

@askully.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 9:22 PM

And that makes me wonder what came first: the words themselves or the sounds and emotions behind them. Maybe language developed from people already being able to communicate through tone, expression, and sound before they had specific words for everything. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

Listening to Yingelishi made me realize that a lot of emotion does not even come from the actual words. You can hear when someone is angry, excited, nervous, or sad just from their tone, even if you have no idea what they are saying. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

What confuses me even more is how languages can be so different yet sound so similar. The words and sounds change completely, but people everywhere still use language to express the same emotions, ideas, and experiences. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

The question Yingelishi left me with is "How did language even come to be? Every language sounds completely different, but somehow they all serve the same basic purpose of helping people communicate with each other. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

A question Yingelishi left behind is, why was the text so scattered? It felt very confusing and jarring. Was it a stylistic choice? #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

@mrspideyboy.bsky.socialOct 10, 2026, 7:35 PM

A possibility Yingelishi opened is that reading something with no audio, and then reading it again with audio, can lead an individual to interpret it entirely differently in both instances. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

The piece disrupted my idea of media. I never really paid as much attention to the audio and visual influence, but this experiment really emphasized that for me. If I were to just read these slides with no audio, I do not think my thoughts on this would be the same. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

In all honesty, I felt no sense of Yingleshi, but the audio was very relaxing for my mind. It was something I would listen to in an attempt to fall asleep. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

A moment where I stopped trying to "understand" was with the screenshot below, after trying to constantly decipher every slide with the visual and audio, I just gave up after failing to fully comprehend it, and tried to respect the underlying beauty. #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

I feel like this showed me that confusion is okay your listener does not have to understand everything #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

In my head I thought I was hearing things when I heard some english but then it went away right away #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

I felt soothed I was in a state of relaxation for the most part of it #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

@butterflies49.bsky.socialOct 8, 2026, 10:14 PM

Yingelishi opened the possibility of adding interruptions to the sound not making it all flow together #hwa4 #whatlisteningmakes

@butterflies49.bsky.socialOct 8, 2026, 10:14 PM

As a listener Yingelishi definitely made me confused and question whos voice I was hearing.
