Been trying out this new indie game "The Lantern of the Laighless Saint" (rolls right off the tongue!), a retro Morrowind-style open-world RPG. Basically, this was made for me.

Gotta praise it for trying what so many of us want. I really want to love it... but I'm torn.

As a game developer, these age restrictions likely impact my business, yet I'm in favor.

Kids need protection, and it may make managing/moderating online multiplayer easier. We've seen plenty of childish behavior in our sessions... though unfortunately, many may be adults.

If you could ask any studio to remake any game ever released what it would be and which studio and why? 🤔 #wgames

My pick would be another remake of Resident Evil 3 as the one we've got was absolutely disappointing and felt as it had nothing in common with OG. Should be done by main Capcom team 1.

What I miss most in games: printed game maps.

They used to come standard in the box, alongside a fun, printed manual. These days, the only way to get a physical map seems to be buying a deluxe edition or printing one yourself.

Fascinating! Rumours are starting to spread that, after GTA IV, Rockstar is working on a new L.A. Noire game.

I was actually surprised to learn that Rockstar was involved with the first one (as co-producers and publishers)... which actually makes a lot of sense now that I think of it.
