#octoberhorrormoviechallenge Day 14: #anamericanwerewolfinlondon One of the best movies in the werewolf genre & it has the most memorable & one of the best, If not THE best werewolf transformations on film! The transformation make-up was so great that it got make-up artist Rick Baker an Academy Award for Best Make-up (a category that was new at the time). A well deserved win! Some people might be suprised that the movie also has some funny moments, but considering this is directed by the same guy who made Animal House & Blues Brothers it actually makes sense. The movie got a sequel in the 90's called An American Werewolf in Paris, but that one is pretty forgettable today & there's a reason why it's forgettable... #johnlandis #davidnaughton #griffindunne #werewolf #werewolftransformation #rickbaker #ghost #intestines #werewolfcurse #clawmarks #biting #decaying #bloodandgore
