Another nice plant I found at #WWT #WelneyReserve was tasteless water-pepper Persicaria mitis. This was growing by one of the dipping platforms. Only my second encounter with the species. it's not common ... plantatlas2020.org/atlas/2cd4p9...

Visited #WWT #WelneyReserve to follow up recent reports of Greater Dodder. The #BSBI database shows the plant, which is Nationally Scarce, scattered over southern England, but with a hotspot (if you can have a hotspot with few records) in the Fens plantatlas2020.org/atlas/2cd4p9.... #wildflowerhour
