Brianne Brenneman's headshot and quote about her Public Scholarship project: Supported by a Rackham Public Scholarship Grant, Brenneman worked with the City of Toronto to conduct 24 interviews and lead four workshops with a diverse range of community members to better understand issues relating to health equity in the city. “When people think about health equity, often their minds go to healthcare, but healthcare itself is only one small piece of what determines people's overall health.”

Malu Castro's headshot and quote about his Public Scholarship project: "“My partners and I conducted case studies on Indigenous land restoration, more commonly known as land back, to identify best practices for determining the ultimate land acquisition price and financing costs. There is no existing scholarship or reporting on the topics of price and pricing regarding land back. This gap significantly undermines the capacity for Indigenous peoples not only to get their lands but also to do so in a way that does not saddle them with worse obligations.”
