Germany’s largest defence contractor, Rheinmetall, is switching production from car parts to weapons of war at Scheringstraße 2. The artillery shells are exported worldwide – and used to kill. In 2025, the company’s turnover stood at 9.75 billion euros. With the lifting of the debt brake on defence spending, this figure will rise even further. ❌ WE WON’T DIE FOR THEIR WARS! Money for the neighbourhood instead of weapons for war ▶️ A third of the German national budget is set to be channelled into armaments soon – whilst spending on education, social services, culture and climate action is being cut. Young people in particular, who are affected by the possible reintroduction of compulsory military service, want neither to learn to kill nor to be killed.
