Frontier Post (Poteau frontière) from Forbach (Moselle (57)).
Installed by the Prussians after their victory in 1871, it was removed from the then-border by the French following the Treaty of Versailles of 1919 #Warof1870

Grey painted iron post with the word « FRONTIÉRE » in white letters in a rectangle at the top of the column. Poteau frontière Forbach (Moselle), 1871 Ce poteau, installé par la Prusse lors de sa victoire en 1871, a été retiré de la frontière par les Français suite au Traité de Versailles de 1919.
