@thehungryarts.bsky.socialSpent some time with a buddy of mine who owns a big FLGS and tested out the new paints. In general, they are pretty much what I was expecting (more in comment)

@daemonrich.bsky.socialI've painted this Squig Hopper entirely using the new Tone Pro paints, which Games Workshop sent me a small test set of. It did mean I had to mix a lot of the colours. I'll be releasing a YouTube video with the full process and my thoughts.

@binxpaints.bsky.socialTone Pro play number two. Reds are so subtle you can barely see I did anything… 3 basecoats this time to get a perfect finish, a shade and a highlight. Don’t have 1 or 5 for the deep shade or top highlight.
Thanks to GW for sending me a sample paint set.

@jewelknightjess.com3rd edition Striking Scorpions, painted with the #WarhammerTonePro colours GW sent me #ad, as started on stream this morning.
Main armour was Plague Toad 5, with a shade made from Heirotek Green 3. Highlights by mixing in white (Blackstone 5).
Pleased with these for a first try with them.
@jewelknightjess.comAlrighty, I ended up not streaming too long because i was overheating and kept yawning.
I had my first experience using the Tone Pro paints over on Twitch, using these old Striking Scorpions models.
I just went in as i would with ordinary paints, using my wet palette. /
@vincentknotley.bsky.socialThis here Warhammer Tone Pro paints landed on my doorstep care of Games Workshop. Now to go see what happens when someone who has put his entirely hobby mind and alchemical predilections (read as: would be Madcap Chemist) into Contrast paints tries to paint with these.
@spruesandbrews.bsky.socialWe check out Warhammer Tone Pro in our full review! spruesandbrews.com/2026/09/30/w... #warhammertonepro
@miniaturerealms.bsky.socialI was lucky to receive the new Warhammer Tone Pro. Here are my first Impressions and a test with the airbrush.

@binxpaints.bsky.socialThanks to Games Workshop for sending a sample set of the new Warhammer Tone Pro paints. Now to decide what to give them a try on.. #WarhammerTonePro #warhammercommunity
@adventurousdadanddaughters.comMy uojnget daughter and J had our first play with #warhammertonepro in the Worthing store yesterday. The Space Marine was a single coat of a 3 paint over black, followed by a 5 wash. Really quite impressive for 15 minutes’ work.
