Maiden voyage of the new WiFi #Shuriken and I grab a _cable_ that isn’t able to let enough power through to properly power the rig. Didn’t notice the odd light pattern until I was home.

Walked around the Twin Cities Marathon in St Paul for 6+ hours with two #wardrive rigs sticking out of my backpack and not ONE person asked what the hell all those antennas were.

I won that bet with my wife (see, they do NOT look bombs… 💣)

I first de-lidded the C5-WROOM to see what was going on.
Then just took a Dremel to the feed and soldered on the pigtail.
Pulls WAY more numbers than the little C5 with an FL connector for some reason.
Why did I not just buy the 1U WROOM?
