This is the left corner of my 71 when I got it, ground down to find the bottom of bondo, removed bondo to find the "professional" repair, cut out the section and replaced with patch from donor. Weld, fiberglass bondo, regular bondo, sand forever, primered

#VWVans More on the shade tree repairs .. I think a lot of people need to give repairs a try.. Being old and poor helps learn new skills . This is the rear corner repairs on my 71, right side was eaten by battery acid and the left was crushed and repaired badly.

A bit late in the year, but we got out there at last.
