@forgood.org.zaThe continued loss of life across Cape Town should encourage us to think differently about how we address violence.
Real safety requires long-term solutions that address the conditions allowing violence to take hold.

@forgood.org.zaCape Town’s communities continue to face deadly violence.
GOOD believes safety starts with building communities where people can live, work and raise their families without fear.
@forgood.org.zaThere has to be a better way. A safer and more caring Cape Town that invests in people and communities before neglect, poverty and exclusion deepen into bigger problems.
GOOD extends its sympathies to the families and communities affected by violence.
@forgood.org.zaThe latest figures paint a disturbing picture of violence across our communities.
We cannot become accustomed to seeing these numbers week after week. There must be a greater sense of urgency to turn the situation around.
@forgood.org.zaOur communities need more than temporary responses when violence erupts.
Communities cannot be expected to simply adapt to violence. We need a serious, coordinated response that tackles the conditions allowing gangsterism and violent crime to continue.
