@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.socialMy last employer- an INDEPENDENT DVM- was this exact same way. He was trying to grow into his OWN #corporation. 🤷♀️ No matter WHO owns your #veterinary hospital, if #profits are their first concern, RUN THE OTHER WAY.

@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.socialThe CLP makes some good points, but they can't be entirely trusted EITHER. 🤷♀️😞

@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social#Accuracy matters in #veterinarymedicine... yes, even when it comes to little #details like listing your hours on your #website.
🤨 Neglecting something as seemingly small as this can cost an #animal their life. 😞

@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.socialWe currently seem to have a whole generation of #vetmed workers who FOR SOME REASON, expected to always get out of work "on time". 🤷♀️ That's how I know they were ✴️woefully✴️ unprepared for the reality of the profession‼️ #veterinary #veterinarymedicine #veterinarians #vetsky #pets #animals #cats #dogs
@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.social@yourotherfamilydr.bsky.socialIt's not a "satirical" documentary. It's 💯% true. It just uses humor to discuss a very serious problem w/ #American #veterinarymedicine. 🤨 #Declawing is almost exclusively done in the #USA.

@drjedijones.bsky.social🩺 The Nose-to-Tail Breakdown
A pet wellness check isn't just vaccine day! It’s a 7-point clinical audit:
• Eyes, ears & dental grading
• Heart & lung auscultation
• Abdominal palpation
• Joint & spine mobility
• Parasite/blood screening
@jeditanker19k.bsky.socialThe Army is fiddling with the PT test, again. Back to a 3 event, non-equipment test.
Push-ups and the 2 mile run are done. They should keep the sprint-drag-carry, planks and deadlift. Those are better indicators of combat performance. Also, add a 2 mile ruck, with a shoot at the end...
@kandx.bsky.socialhistology for my pathology seminary case. Ample vacuolization (spongiosis) in mid brain, hippocampus specifically. Our theory is that this degeneration was caused by a liver tumor. im so excited! #vetmedsky #vetsky #hepaticencephalopathy
