They say if you look toward Ingles Hill, that a velvety darkness envelops it, calling out to people passing by. Those who have been lured into it have disappeared and have never been seen from again.

velvety darkness coats the room
bringing crisp, chilly air with it
everything starts to go cold
except for me
I stay warm wrapped in your arms
right where I belong

I failed to kiss you
in velvety darkness
I didn't see the storm clouds wander
we went for a walk with daughters of madness
and when we returned
I found myself alone

Suzerain of Night,
Shrouded in a velvety
Darkness, cold to touch.
