The #velvety blues covers the hidden sorrow
While oft played dreams falter and fall away
What senses are employed grow dimmer by day
With intentions buried deeper than the snow
@jamellen.bsky.socialA velvety dusk
hangs low muffled oranges
the tide grows nearer

@sifaswriting.bsky.socialPour a cup
of #velvety
hot chocolate
made of
the creamiest milk
and mixed with
the rarest spices
a decadent treat
as the cold
and dark night
descends
@rayhourigan.bsky.socialVelvety antlers
Glisten in snowy sunrise,
Reindeer on the move.
