@jimconant.bsky.socialNew modular composition. The music is generative modular (no AI), composed in VCV rack. The video was done entirely using Opus 5.5. #modularsynth #vcvrack
@saturatamodular.bsky.socialHiroshi Yoshimura inspired ambient music in VCV Rack — a generative modular synthesizer patch with nature sounds.
@cornwarning.comNew Album "Slant Tales"
Downtempo (just because I use 90bpm as a default in #VCVRack) experimental, ambient. inexpert playing lap steel, melodica
Something new, I'm trying Subvert as a distributor. I'll upload to @bandcamp.com as well in a week.

@saturatamodular.bsky.socialCrossfade between two delay effects in VCV Rack.
Instead of choosing one delay, send the same signal through two different delays and use a stereo crossfader to move between them.

@saturatamodular.bsky.socialTangerine Dream “Tangram” sequence recreated in VCV Rack
Presets for all three sequences are included, so you can load them into VCV Rack and use them in your own patches.

@npchelsea.bsky.socialBy the way, it's also available on @subvert.fm. Check it out and consider leaving an extra tip for the co-op. Quack!

@philipmrussell.bsky.socialVCV Rack 2 — Building a Synthesiser That Doesn't Physically Exist.
@saturatamodular.bsky.socialTesting Haar by Ormer Modular for VCV Rack.
For this one I used it to process a cinematic braam.
The reverb gives the low-end hit a much longer, more diffuse tail, while Fog, Glow and Drift let me shape the character and movement.
@cornwarning.com16 step pattern sequencers limiting, & feel like 40 years on we've had enough of those sounds.
There's a financial hurdle to assembling a large enough hardware modular to build entire song patches, which is why I do something like you're doing with #VCVRack
I never run out of low pass gates. 😊

@saturatamodular.bsky.socialReGrandy → Rings 🌿
A simple VCV Rack patch with a surprisingly organic result. ReGrandy generates constantly shifting CV, while Rings turns it into resonant, plucked and physical-modeling textures.
@saturatamodular.bsky.socialIn this VCV Rack patch, three SEQ3 melody rows are connected to a 4:1 Sequential Switch. A divided clock triggers the switch, cycling through the sequences automatically.

@saturatamodular.bsky.socialSince SHOAL is officially out now, I figured I'd share this patch again.
A gentle IDM patch built around a single sequencer — Shoal by Ormer Modular, an 8-track generative melody sequencer.
@saturatamodular.bsky.socialWyrd is a playable sound-design instrument that can work as a standalone voice, external processor, or both at once.
A sound goes into Wyrd and starts feeding back, resonating and transforming itself into something completely different. Very Stockhausen
