Part 2 of my VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.1 lab upgrade is up. This one covers the fleet management components, which kept failing prechecks with a 500 error and no details, and what I found in the services runtime clusters when I went looking. #VMware #VCF #homelab

Part 1 of my VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.1 lab upgrade: a password remediate that failed left four locks behind in SDDC Manager's database, and they blocked syncs, password rotations, and NSX audits for ten days. How I found and cleared them. #VMware #VCF #homelab

Patching ESX hosts in VCF 9.1: the image starts in the vCenter Image Library, gets imported into VCF Operations, and goes out through a component upgrade plan. The whole flow, for VMware admins used to the Updates tab. #VMware #VCF #vExpert

The blog has a new home. First post: VCF 101, a map of what's actually running in a VMware Cloud Foundation 9 environment, and the start of a series for vSphere admins making the move to VCF. #VMware #VCF #vExpert

New post! VCF 9 and 9.1 don't enable EVC as part of the installation process. This blog shows you how you can enable it on your cluster even if you have vCenter running on it!

It's been a minute, again. Married. Family grew +1. Diagnosed #AuADHD. Burnout is hard.

But lately...

I've been up to a bunch of projects. I've been learning #VCF. I've been coding some projects. And I'm going to start blogging on technology stuffs again.

I've been using Codex to help debug my #VCF Private AI Services (PAIS) setup, especially since I saw inconsistent perf when running GPU inside of MS-A2 ... Turns out thermal throttling was cause, Codex helped w/benchmark & I recently learned about MTP = 31 toks/ 💪

📣 1st #VCF 9.1.1.0100 EP has been released for following commponents:
