For #SpoonieMovieTime today @bookishlisamarie.bsky.social & I watched
#Undertone
Well I am not going to say I did not like it, but I did not like it either.. it was scary.
I am going to give #TriggerWarnings
Don't watch, if you have a dying loved one. a persistent anxiety state or are pregnant.

Undertone (2026) 30DoH#01
A podcast host caring for her dying mother receives tapes of a pregnant couple’s paranormal events mirroring her own, each driving her toward madness.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: Meh
Honestly just a banal version of what we have seen before #undertone #horror #thirtydaysofHalloween

Oh #Undertone was unsettling! Those slow camera pans and the sound work was tense. I wanted a bit more from the end, but was pleasantly surprised by this #horror flick. EVP is totally lost on me though. I didn't pick up on anything! 😆

Undertone uses ancient folklore to police female independence. It fails because the real-life horror it exposes is its own retrograde, patriarchal worldview.

Cara, assistir ao terror #Undertone e até que gostei, mas o final que estava esperando o bicho pegar, o filme acaba. A construção muito boa, filme bem dirigido e eu louco pela catarse e ela veio meia boca, ainda assim valeu vai.

Finally caught up with #Undertone. I was genuinely creeped out every step of the way. What a great slow burn get under your skin horror film about death, guilt & the responsibility of parenthood. Bonkers ending. Great use of one location. Not for everyone but definitely for me.
