Welp... Let's just hope the community can keep Deno alive. If not, I have one year to migrate my projects.
At least JSR will survive (for now)

Had so much hope for deno desktop and just heard cloudflare killed deno products apart from a few they care about. It's sad.
Bun v1.4.3リリース。

Node.js 24 ships SQLite built-in, finally making it viable to ditch native module dependencies in edge workers and serverless functions where compilation is a nightmare.

unknown isn’t missing type information.
It’s an honest description of a value we haven’t verified yet.
The interesting question is what comes next:
Do we really need a full schema library for every runtime boundary? 👀

unknown is doing its job.
An API response doesn’t become a User just because our app expects one. 😸
The interesting part is how we establish trust at runtime and whether every boundary really needs a full schema library.

PVS-Studio’s JS/TS analyzer now has a Control Flow Graph:

TypeScript will finally get native 16-bit float support in 2026, cutting GPU memory usage in half for ML models and making WebGL/WebGPU workflows dramatically faster without manual bit-packing hacks.
I've been building liaise, a typed API client for #TypeScript on top of fetch.
The video is from its intro, which types it out piece by piece and ends with a finished search box. Full thing is 3½ min: iremlopsum.github.io/liaise/?ref=...
It feels magical that that #TypeScript can detect whether you can use certain properties based on a discriminated property a union type.
Practical takeaway: keep runtime tests for observed behavior (preserve 0, '', false; reject non-arrays) and use tsc/editor checks for type narrowing — they answer different questions. #TypeScript

Green build ≠ verified package.
For my tsup → tsdown migration, I packed the npm tarball and tested it from a temporary consumer: ESM, CJS, and TypeScript.
Test what users actually install. 🔧
