Explanation: In 1988, fewer than 1% of households in every economic class owned a car. By 2024, ownership had risen to about 19% among the richest 20% of households and nearly 6% among the next-richest group. It remained below 3% for the other three groups, showing that the increase was concentrated among richer households.

From 1 Jan 2026 every new two-wheeler ships with ABS and two BIS helmets in the price.

Buy the same model used and you inherit neither. ABS is a variant question, not a model one.

Before the earnings maths: can it legally carry a paying passenger where you intend to work? Registration class, permit, insurance.
