Politics a turning stile
For power and for greed
Although it may take a while
Politics a turning stile
Corporate donors do beguile
And encourage each misdeed
Politics a turning stile
For power and for greed

Morning rush
the #turningstile
clicks over and over
the numbers go up
the trains arrive
and depart on time
it is another day
the city hums
content in busyness

Confounded by the
Turning stile, cow tries to climb,
But it's been a while.
