Sam Shepard's True West continues this weekend.

"This production is more than good—layered, revealing, and with a sizzle of angry energy that speeds us through the scenes, pedal to metal." - Jan Farrington, Onstage NTX

A very successful opening weekend of #TrueWest. But the theatre train never stops. I've got paperwork to as #LCTTheColony holds auditions for #DogSeesGod this week. My role of director is done, but I always have Artistic Director duties to handle.

Our first full technical last night for #TrueWest had its challenges, but we pulled it off. Two more dress rehearsals before we open on Friday.

Today is the start of Tech Week for True West. Using some PTO due to late night rehearsals and to get everything ready for Friday's opening! Time to make my offering to Dionysus, the Greek god of theater, wine, festivity, and ritual.

I've been directing a brand new production of TRUE WEST at Lakeside Community Theatre. It's been a great experience with an awesome cast and a kick ass production team.

Of course memories flood my mind of our production in August of 2010, 16 years ago!!
