for the #TrueRefDT017 drawing challenge, the infamous Frieren head angle! idk why Usagi popped into my head, but I really like how this turned out!

a digital drawing of Usagi from Sailor Moon, looking up into a starry night sky.a photograph of a blonde woman looking up, shot from a slight low angle.

Digital painting of a pirate - she's looking up to the left with a soft smile, wearing a pirate hat, a shirt and a coat, has red and green braids and a golden and blue iguana on her shoulders - the background shows parts of a ship and a blue skyart reference of a blond woman looking up.

Here’s my entry in @trueref.bsky.social’s September Draw This! challenge.

I’m calling it “Drow Matron”.

It’s not as finished as I’d like, but I wanted to enter it before the month was over (procrastination is my middle name 🙃). LOVE the reference pic - really fun one to draw!

"The Forest Spirit" for #TrueRefDT017
(This was a hard angle ;-;)

A dryad? not sure what she is yet, looking up towards the sky as some harpies flying overhead.

Thanks, I hate this angle 😊

Tried a new technique to paint this in Krita : did a photomontage and painted it with a very quick sketch on one full layer. No AI involved. Thanks for sharing @trueref.bsky.social #TrueRefDT017

My attempt terrifies me but I tried. And for some reason I decided three Crayola crayons was the way to go here.
