Other areas may be impacted from #TropicalStormIsaias from the Tennessee Valley to the Carolinas.

We have some preparedness tips for storms and hurricanes: disasterstrategies.org/disaster-tips/

If you would like to look at the NOAA map more closely, here is the link: www.nhc.noaa.gov/mobile/

[ID 2: Black background with a screenshot of the path of the storm provided by the National Weather Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). At the top of the page, above the image, is the text, “Tropical Storm Isaias” in bold white font. The image itself is the National Hurricane Center forecast map for Hurricane Isaias, dated October 8, 2026, at 7 AM CDT. The map shows Isaias in the Gulf of Mexico, moving northeast toward the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast. A white cone shows the storm’s projected path inland through Mississippi and Tennessee over the weekend. Red, blue, pink, and yellow coastal markings indicate hurricane and tropical storm watches and warnings. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 80 mph. Underneath the image is the byline in white italicized text that reads, “Image from the National Weather Service and  the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration” Centered at the bottom of the page is The Partnership’s logo in front of a white slightly curved rectangle.]
Black background with a white text box, a QR code, and clipart of a hurricane. At the top of the page is the text, “Preparedness Tips” in bold white font. In the top-right corner, next to the title of the page is The Partnership’s sun logo. The white textbox is underneath the title and reads, “Our website has more in-depth information on how to prepare and stay safe during a hurricane, tropical storm, and other disasters. disasterstrategies.org/disaster-tips/”. Underneath the text box is a black and white QR code directing to the link of the preparedness tips. The hurricane clip art is in the bottom-right corner.]
Black background with a white text box filling the majority of the space. At the top of the page is the text, “Preparedness Tips” in bold white font. In the top-right corner, next to the title of the page is The Partnership’s sun logo. The textbox consists of a bulleted list of preparedness tips for a tropical storm. The first bullet point is, “Make a plan for yourself and your household, including your service animals, emotional support animals, and pets”. The sub-bullet point is, "Make sure others know this plan”. The second bullet point is, “If needed, figure out whether you live in a designated Evacuation Zone”. The third bullet point is, “Plan how you will leave and where you will go if emergency managers recommend evacuation or issue mandatory evacuation orders”. The two subheadings under this point are, “If you have a car, try to keep a half to a full tank of gas, in case you need to evacuate” and “If you do not have a car, plan how you will leave if you have to evacuate”. The final bullet point is, “Be alert for road hazards such as washed out roads or bridges and downed power lines. Do not drive into flooded areas!”]
