I thought I saw that Beaumont Texas got 21” of rain in 24 hours from #TropicalStormEdouard but someone told me today that it was my area an hour away that got that much.
Then I looked it up and one weatherman said we got 13”.

So either way, I guess that’s why I got water in my house.

Red Cross hasn’t called me yet. That I know of. They were supposed to call me by 6:45, it’s 10:50.

I’ve been awake since 6am or 5 I don’t remember anymore
too many alerts and text messages were coming in this morning until the phone stopped working too

I used towels to try to soak up some of the water.
I started in the middle then to the left then right
And back to the middle and it was like I hadn’t done anything at all to the middle part.

It’s useless.

I have a fan to blow the carpet dry but NO electricity.
