S2E4: The Forest’s Grief

This week's poem is from Winterbloom's perspective, inspired by her words that forgiveness takes an age. It's about the grief of losing what took a long time to grow, and how healing cannot be rushed. 🌿

S2E3: A Debt to My Mother

Inspired by Isildur’s conversation with Estrid, this poem explores the guilt he carries over his mother’s sacrifice, and his belief that he must do something extraordinary to make the life she saved worthwhile.

Kinktober day 9: LINGERIE💝

I am good with putting Adar in all sorts of fancy lingerie but for this one I wanted to give him something that would be handmade by Uruk hands😌✨

#Kintober #Orctober #Adar #TROP #Lingerie

Illustration in low saturated tones of Adar laying on a fluffy survace, seen to his hips, hair spread around his head and his gauntleted hand resting by his face. He is only wearing a piece of lingerie made of strings tied together in a messy way around his neck, torso and shoulders, that also have black polished stones and white stones/pieces of bone attached to it. He wears also a headpiece that fall over his face framing his gaze, made of similar materials. His sword is resting crossed over his hips and there are a few blue flowers scattered on the bed and over Adar's belly.

Whumptober Day 6: KIDNAPPED⛓️

Arondir & Adar first meeting✨Interesting that for most of his life, Adar only could have a chat with another Elf by kidnapping/being kidnapped by them.

P.S: Always loving Arondir's puzzlement on this scene, feels so genuinely disturbed

#Whumptober #Arondir #Adar #TROP

Coloured illustration of Arondir and Adar facing each other in their first meeting in the Uruk trenches underground. Arondir is kneeling at the left, all tense and cautious, while Adar is sitting on a rock at the right, staring at him with a mix of tiredness, menace and curiosity. Between them there are wooden bars closing a tunnel in which a fiery warg is watching the scene with teeth bared.

Whumptober Day 5: ENEMY TO CARETAKER🤝❤️‍🩹

The founding of Imladris by Elrond was not without its secrets🔏

I've been wanting to draw this for a long while and this prompt was the definitive push! Here I am pushing the "Adar lives" agenda until the end🥺🖤

#Elrond #Gil-Galad #Adar #TROP #Whumptober

Comic page.

At the top there is a pannel surrounded by a cloudy atmosphere (meaning it's a memory) in which Gil-Galad and Elrond are talking.

GIL-GALAD: "And remember, Elrond, any secret you keep-..."
ELROND: "I am not-..."
GIL-GALAD: "Any secret will be known. And the consequences will not be for you alone but for all the people helping you keep it hidden in Imladris"

Under these last Gil-Galad's words appears Elrond in the present, in a dark room, thoughtful at that memory. In the pannel at the right every thought is interrumpted by a hand with long nails extending towards Elrond, who looks slightly shocked our of his reverie. There is a black balloon connecting with the hand that says "MY... CHILDREN"

In the last pannel, at the bottom of the page, appears a scene in which we discover Elrond has been sitting at the bedside of someone gravely wounded and covered in dressings who is not other than Adar, commander of the Uruks and his former enemy.

Elrond is taking the hand Adar extended between his, and we can see he is wearing the ring Vilya.

Miriel, dressed in a flowy dress and gold jewelry, is sitting relaxed in a filled bathtub. Her long hair is fanned over the edge of the tub. Her left arm is casually propped up on the edge of the tub. The tub stands on a marble floor of star patterned tiles, submerged a few inches underwater.

Charlie Vickers 265: Day 277.
The way you know Sauron is going to gently shush Galadriel like this when she's whimpering after waking up to find herself caught, and then he's going to take that hand and softly glide his fingertips across her cheek and into her hair...
