Forgotten Island x4 tickets in 2 weeks
Fourgotten Island

I watched it for the 4th time in cinemas!! They're reducing it to only 1 show time for 3 days, so it's likely the movie will be gone soon.

I wanted to catch the last weekend showing. Great audience today :3 very receptive. #TribLikesStuff

9 Movies That Shaped Me

Allthese movies are in my Top 50, though they aren't arranged in that way :D

These are movies that shaped my tastes and influenced my work and my LIFE in direct and subtle ways~

also, the clincher were ones that I quote a ton IRL 😁 #TribLikesStuff

I love movies!! 🎬

🎵 Man I can help you Ryan, if you go to detox 🎵

Recently, I've been in love with work of the band Rare Americans,
in this case their song + music video, 'Ryan & Dave'

Dave encourages his cousin Ryan to turn his life around, after Ryan reaches out in desperation #TribdinosaurArt #TribLikesStuff

god I need more people to hop on the Forgotten Island train because I need to share the original songs from that soundtrack that made me cry #TribLikesStuff

Now I REALLY want to catch a full house showing
I love being in a crowd all watching something together

I've watched Forgotten Island 3 times! It's my new record for most times watching a movie in theatres
Just supporting this movie I love

Each rewatch, I take notes on my phone hidden in my jacket

I've noted many things, like my favorite lines, and the timestamp when I start crying #TribLikesStuff

oh Coyote Vs Acme is out on digital now yay :3 now it's easier for everyone to watch the movie, which I recommend

also Forgotten Island is still in theatres yay so everyone go watch that too, I recommend

#TribLikesStuff I need to draw more fan art of both of these, so if you wanna get familiar!

I mean, even me saving these movie tickets is connected to the themes and story of Forgotten Island

I wanna keep them because they remind me of a wonderful birthday weekend I had, and also just this nice day I had going to the movies on my own after running errands #TribLikesStuff

I know it's only been 4 days since I first watched, but I haven't been able to get Forgotten Island off my mind

I love when movies articulate an idea or thought I've already pondered in

our relationship with memories, especially their connection to mundane experiences and objects #TribLikesStuff

nyahah I watched Forgotten Island a second time this week

while out running errands, I went "I've got time before 5pm..."

y'all, I love the movie even more on a rewatch

I wasn't flashbanged by the speed anymore,
and I gained even more appreciation for the storytelling and themes #TribLIkesStuff

I really like the word 'southpaw'
great term for a left-hander
even though it's specifically for throwing a ball, I'm gonna start calling myself a southpaw artist

I love Forgotten Island I love being pandered to as a Filipino 🇵🇭

I don't need more constructive criticism thought right now tbh uwu I'm too happy that such a cool movie features elements from my country's culture, parts from some of our mythology, and also elements from my childhood #TribLikesStuff

was talking about Filipino movies, I suddenly remembered one of my *favorite* shots in cinema #TribLikesStuff

from 'Leonor Will Never Die'
a film about a retired writer who gets transported into a nostalgic action movie, after a TV falls on her head

This is what falling into TV world looked like

read Chapter 2 of Legend of Luke... it's so sweet #TribLikesStuff

Literally they give Martin a mental health check up party. Reminding him that he always forgets himself for the sake of others.

'Take the trip, find the truth. Don't worry about the abbey, we'll be okay. It's our turn to help you.'

Legend of Luke's premise is brilliant.

Martin was an orphan, slave, revolutionary, now retired, resigned to a life of peace. One day, he overhears a song... about his long-lost heroic father, Luke. A legend sung in lyrics, by a visiting traveller.

And his past comes roaring back... #TribLikesStuff

I dreaded reading pages upon pages of academic text in college
I lost my love of 'reading books for fun' for a long time

Lately, tabletop games and DND made me interested in stories again~ how your imagination gets invigorated just by words

I've missed reading books for fun #TribLIkesStuff

Before the pandemic, I started reading The Legend of Luke, but stopped a few pages in

College really knocked out my love of reading, and 2019 I'd just graduated

Been around 7 years now~

I found myself reading again lately <3
Just finished Chapter 1 of Legend of Luke and I'm happy #TribLikesStuff

No Rolls Barred teaming up with Smosh Games!!! -faints-

Had a lovely chat with my dear friend about nostalgia
Was fun to find out we share positive memories for Loonatics Unleashed #TribLikesStuff

I loved this show growing up

It was a crossover and an AU (before I knew the term), that was cool

Plus, cute furry characters (also before I knew the term)

also this movie managed to break my heart twice, maybe three times

allowing itself to also be emotional without feeling out of placce, I love it

I'd love to say more, but that would be spoilers #TribLikesStuff uwu
