Gokyo village, the settlement with a number of lodges or the mountain huts, offering shelter to trekkers hiking in the Everest Region. It is located on the shore of Gokyo Tsho or Dudh Pokhari, the freshwater lake, and on the slope of the Ngozumpa Glacier moraine with the view of the eight-thousander Cho Oyu, seen here with an orographic cloud.
