I would like to thank @shelfnerds.bsky.social for hosting September's #TrekExchange prompts which focused on marketplaces and commerce on Star Trek.

Now it's onto October's #TrekBeaming in which we discuss all things transporter related. Please join the discussion if you can.

#TrekExchange Day 30: Exchange - Officer Exchange Program (TNG)

Occasionally, we heard about the Officer Exchange Program. Participants in the program have included Commander Riker & Ensign Mendon ("A Matter of Honor"), Kurn ("Sins of the Father") and J'Dan ("The Drumhead").

#TrekExchange Day 30 Exchange “Generations”

Picard has a prisoner exchange with the Duras sisters; himself for Geordi. #Startrek

#TrekExchange Day 29: Greed

For this one, I will go with the 1st Rule of Acquisition. Since it's #1, I assume it is the foundation of Ferengi's approach to business.

"Once you have their money, you never give it back."

What a wonderful month of #TrekPrompts with #TrekExchange! So many great picks this month and so fun to think about the business that takes place.

Thanks to everyone I interacted with and especially @shelfnerds.bsky.social for creating these amazing prompts!

#TrekExchange Being Watched "Insurrection"

#TrekExchange Day 26: Unexpected Visitor, Shaxs, LD's "We'll Always Have Tom Paris"

At the end of Season 1, Shaxs died saving Rutherford. A few episodes later, Rutherford spotted Shaxs unexpectantly on the Cerritos. I don't think we ever got a clear explanation how he survived.
