The Overture plays… The set is a monochrome cityscape. There are hoses and industrial equipment nearby. See, Benjamin Tempora comes on from the right stage. Walking slowly with his cane seemingly contemplating something important. He begins to sing the opening number, Infinite no Infinitesimal. BENJAMIN TEMPORA Can I change our fate…? The kids and I…? I surely hope so… Benjamin Tempora walks into his workplace as the set pieces move to reveal the inner workings of a museum he had once been standing outside of. The other employees looked at him as if he was in trouble. BENJAMIN TEMPORA Can I help you? MR. WELLS Well, for one you can sit down and listen to me, Benjamin. BENJAMIN TEMPORA This can’t be good. Cut to the chase would you sir? MR. WELLS Since you want to cut the formalities off… BENJAMIN TEMPORA What is it? MR. WELLS You have been daydreaming, Ben. And you know what dreamers get in this world? BENJAMIN TEMPORA A lack of respect, apparently. MR. WELLS Well, that, and a little something else. Mr. Wells slides a piece of paper across his desk towards Benjamin who raises a brow and tilts his head at it. BENJAMIN TEMPORA What’s this?

That is when the time piece, Infinitesimal, begins to tick, and make mechanical and robotic sounds. Tick Tock plays out leaving Benjamin Tempora stunned. Exit Benjamin Tempora left stage. The set pieces change around to that of a watchmaker's home. Harold Halfright is sitting in a recliner, dozing off. There is a knock at the Door, then the door slams open startling the man. Enter Benjamin Tempora through that very door in the set. BENJAMIN TEMPORA Harold! Come quickly! I need your help!
